Merry Christmas, Stitchers!
I do hope that this day is a happy & healthy one for you!!  I am doing great.  I am enjoying these nice cool days....All is quiet around the home front.  Just some greedy birds arguing over food...LOL!!  Just like human children, wouldn't you say?
My old man, Echo-my 12 year old Russian Blue cat, enjoyed his brushing this morning.  No thanks, said he, when I had the door open to coax him outside!!
The Cockatiels are all quiet for some reason, too.  The girls are all underneath Joe's blanket, again, choosing no cool air!!
We had an unexpected problem arise late yesterday...seems my water pump croaked sometime that day.  So, Joe is waiting for a friend-who just happens to be a plumber by trade, to assist with buying the parts needed.  Joe can install himself, thank God.  So, my bath soaking time was a no go!  LOL!
Every single time we have a little money....something strikes with a loud boom to be fixed!!
I am sure that lots of you know how THAT feels!!
Here is a gift for you to stitch.  I hope that you like it and will stitch it up!!!

I hope that you all like this and will stitch it up!!!  There is no.....doubt about it, no doubt at all...once a cross stitch designer, always a cross stitch designer!! One cannot have visions, at the most opportune moments, UN-noticed....

I am listening to Christmas music and sipping on some home-made spice tea...all for me..as Joe is the coffee connoisseur...did I get that right???!  LOL!
He is out wiring a house for our neighbor who rents them out.  He did say, yesterday, that climbing on ladders and crawling thru attics is not for him anymore.  This will be his last big project!!  He will do small ones that can be done in a day and be-gone for that project!!  He has been wiring for a week now.  I don't blame him!  He IS retired, like me....or so we think.......................
I sure hope that Christmas is cold like last year!!!!  I just get all smothered with happiness!!  The lights, the trees, the smells....the nice people..........and the girls dressed in their winter dresses*.
Enjoy this day...and stay safe!!

Good Morning Stitchers!!!
I know that it has been months since I posted.  But, I am back, now!  I am doing well.  I have been doing other things....1 of them being.....a brand new adoption!!!  I did it!!!!   I couldn't help it, she needs me.....She is a tiny thing like Babee-Girl, the Chi.  Her mouth needs help...frankly it looks like-to me, that she has been kicked in the mouth...and she has a swelling on her side.  She can definitely eat, thank God.  Soft food*  She is a shiny black with just a touch* of brown on her eyebrows and legs.
I have a miniature Dachshund on board and her name is *Bella*, which she answers to!  Wow, now I see just how much *July*, the Chi-weenie, has grown!!  She went around with her nose in the air for awhile, but didn't hurt Bella any, even when feedings came.  July is B-I-G now!!  LOL!  I think somehow, she knows that Bella has been hurt.  She has warmed up to her now.  But....no denying, July is QUEEN dog!!
Babee-girl is rocking now.  She is so loving and so smart!!  All 3 1/2 pounds of her!  Bella fits right between the sizes.  This little bit of a girl takes no words from July.  If she wants it, she takes it!!
I am so glad that I took Bella.  She is a good dog.  I think that she is about 7 or 8 years old. She and Babee-girl sleep with me while July sleeps with Joe.
So far, this year we are starting to have a winter!!  I am soooooooooooo glad!!!  We had such a super one last year!  Hopefully, Christmas will be just right, again, this year!
My health has been just fine in the past months.  He took me off 2 pills!  Cool, huh???  I do have a new *ouch*...My finger next to my pinky locks up when I bend it to make a fist.  That smarts!!!
I don't know that it is but I intend to dig him-the doc-on my next visit!  It seems like it is *out of joint* and a good tug would put it back in place...
Joe found yesterday that he needs cataract surgery.  I am glad that it can be fixed!  Otherwise, fit as a fiddle!
I am still playing the games!!  There is no getting away from that....LOL!!!  I got the 2 new Pokemon games-Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire.  I have started Ruby and put the other one up for Christmas along with other *treats*.  Thank goodness I don't need the grumpy finger to play!!!
I haven't been doing any cross stitching or designing, until this week.  I really just couldn't get in to the groove of designing or stitching since mom passed.
I think that is fixing to change!!
So......what do you think????
