Merry Christmas, Stitchers!
I do hope that this day is a happy & healthy one for you!!  I am doing great.  I am enjoying these nice cool days....All is quiet around the home front.  Just some greedy birds arguing over food...LOL!!  Just like human children, wouldn't you say?
My old man, Echo-my 12 year old Russian Blue cat, enjoyed his brushing this morning.  No thanks, said he, when I had the door open to coax him outside!!
The Cockatiels are all quiet for some reason, too.  The girls are all underneath Joe's blanket, again, choosing no cool air!!
We had an unexpected problem arise late yesterday...seems my water pump croaked sometime that day.  So, Joe is waiting for a friend-who just happens to be a plumber by trade, to assist with buying the parts needed.  Joe can install himself, thank God.  So, my bath soaking time was a no go!  LOL!
Every single time we have a little money....something strikes with a loud boom to be fixed!!
I am sure that lots of you know how THAT feels!!
Here is a gift for you to stitch.  I hope that you like it and will stitch it up!!!

I hope that you all like this and will stitch it up!!!  There is no.....doubt about it, no doubt at all...once a cross stitch designer, always a cross stitch designer!! One cannot have visions, at the most opportune moments, UN-noticed....

I am listening to Christmas music and sipping on some home-made spice tea...all for me..as Joe is the coffee connoisseur...did I get that right???!  LOL!
He is out wiring a house for our neighbor who rents them out.  He did say, yesterday, that climbing on ladders and crawling thru attics is not for him anymore.  This will be his last big project!!  He will do small ones that can be done in a day and be-gone for that project!!  He has been wiring for a week now.  I don't blame him!  He IS retired, like me....or so we think.......................
I sure hope that Christmas is cold like last year!!!!  I just get all smothered with happiness!!  The lights, the trees, the smells....the nice people..........and the girls dressed in their winter dresses*.
Enjoy this day...and stay safe!!

Good Morning Stitchers!!!
I know that it has been months since I posted.  But, I am back, now!  I am doing well.  I have been doing other things....1 of them being.....a brand new adoption!!!  I did it!!!!   I couldn't help it, she needs me.....She is a tiny thing like Babee-Girl, the Chi.  Her mouth needs help...frankly it looks like-to me, that she has been kicked in the mouth...and she has a swelling on her side.  She can definitely eat, thank God.  Soft food*  She is a shiny black with just a touch* of brown on her eyebrows and legs.
I have a miniature Dachshund on board and her name is *Bella*, which she answers to!  Wow, now I see just how much *July*, the Chi-weenie, has grown!!  She went around with her nose in the air for awhile, but didn't hurt Bella any, even when feedings came.  July is B-I-G now!!  LOL!  I think somehow, she knows that Bella has been hurt.  She has warmed up to her now.  But....no denying, July is QUEEN dog!!
Babee-girl is rocking now.  She is so loving and so smart!!  All 3 1/2 pounds of her!  Bella fits right between the sizes.  This little bit of a girl takes no words from July.  If she wants it, she takes it!!
I am so glad that I took Bella.  She is a good dog.  I think that she is about 7 or 8 years old. She and Babee-girl sleep with me while July sleeps with Joe.
So far, this year we are starting to have a winter!!  I am soooooooooooo glad!!!  We had such a super one last year!  Hopefully, Christmas will be just right, again, this year!
My health has been just fine in the past months.  He took me off 2 pills!  Cool, huh???  I do have a new *ouch*...My finger next to my pinky locks up when I bend it to make a fist.  That smarts!!!
I don't know that it is but I intend to dig him-the doc-on my next visit!  It seems like it is *out of joint* and a good tug would put it back in place...
Joe found yesterday that he needs cataract surgery.  I am glad that it can be fixed!  Otherwise, fit as a fiddle!
I am still playing the games!!  There is no getting away from that....LOL!!!  I got the 2 new Pokemon games-Pokemon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire.  I have started Ruby and put the other one up for Christmas along with other *treats*.  Thank goodness I don't need the grumpy finger to play!!!
I haven't been doing any cross stitching or designing, until this week.  I really just couldn't get in to the groove of designing or stitching since mom passed.
I think that is fixing to change!!
So......what do you think????

Good Afternoon Stitchers!!!
Well.....the cold events are taking place in Georgia this year.  We haven't had a wicked winter like this ..ever!
The US tempts have plummeted all over except,California, which has been in a severe drought, even the mountains are naked!
What is weird about it is this......3 days maybe 4 cold.....then up it scoots to 70 for 2 or 3 days!!!  Then a new freeze comes and that is the cycle this year!  Azaleas, in some parts, BLOOM....then POW 25 degrees....
I am sure dreading summer this year.....LOL!!!
Cat, even with that double winter coat, says.....NO!
I understand that England has had some weird weather, too!  Until this year, we have never heard of a polar vortex!
I have really enjoyed playing my video games.  I am about 1/2 way played "Bravely Default" on my Nintendo 3DS XL.  http://www.pinterest.com/toniastitches/the-legend-of-zelda-a-link-between-worlds/
I play a game then I post about it.  I have really enjoyed the last 3 I have played.  I am thinking about getting a new one-Kirby Triple Deluxe-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZfhOl5dAu4
In the meantime, I have a new design for you!!!  I do hope that you like it and will stitch it!!

It be raining ice pellets in Brunswick, Ga!!!

Hi there all!

I am so beside myself as it is doing something that hasn't been done since 1989, when we got 6 inches of snow*,  where I live!!  After a slow rain all night, the temp is dropping instead of rising this morning.
Hooray, we are really having a winter this year.  We are having snappy cold days one after the other, although it is the pits that it warms right back up to 70 and then another boom comes!!  LOL
Since we stopped having winters, 14 years ago and I went wheelchair bound,  I gave all my pants to my nieces up north.  I have 3 pair of thin pants......The rest are shorts.....har!! har!!
I can't go outside anyway....
I wonder......we are having a winter* since late October,  are we heading back to normal weather for us...finally??!
I do detest heat for 9 months out of the year...3 months mild(60's, 70"s).
Now, California is going through drought like we did for 8 years around here.
Jacksonville, Fl has been slammed with rain the past year.  We didn't get anywhere near that amount.  But..it was rain!

So, all you snow birds be careful with the wicked winter that yall are having this year....
Until next time...
Happy Stitchings!

I'm bacccccccck......(January 25th)

Good Afternoon Stitchers!!!!
I know...I know....I have been very naughty...The time really got away from me. I was, also, making a decision.
Mom's passing was a slow down for me, too.  I really came to grips about what is important in my life.  I knew
this one since I lost my best friend years ago...ALWAYS tell those and show them how much you love them...
you may not get to tomorrow.
I was bouncing back and forth (like Tigger ) could I fully retire?  Did I really want to?  I, still, dream up patterns
so I guess that part of me want be silenced.  LOL!  I want to stitch more,  I am heavy into my game playings,  I
dabble in crocheting, I want to start painting cross stitch fabrics,  I got a whole bunch of paint colors, I cut back
on  going to the country to my friend-Dot's place to Sundays-for girl day.  It's just Dot, Kathy, & me-all the guys
stay away!!  I lost 2 of my old birds* this summer, 1 that laid eggs...
My doggies are all fine!!  Babee Girl has really come out of her shell!!  She will spin and spin around when she
wants your snack!!  July has grown into the "chosen Doberman on duty".  You'd swear that she'd take your arm
or leg off.....big joke.......you touch her, she melts into oblivion..so much for bad a** Doberman!
My Friends...........HEAR YE......HEAR YE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Georgia is having her first winter in over 10 years or more!!!!!  I am LOVING it!!!!  It is so freaky seeing that we
are colder than California!! My kitty Echo is feeling it, too.  He know longer wants to go out!!!!!!  I have no
winter clothes anymore, I have 3 pair of pants.  I usually wear shorts year round!  We are getting rain, not too much where I live, but every drop we need.  California is feeling what we felt for 6 years.  Jacksonville, Fl has gotten so
much rain this & last year...we are only an hour and a half north!!
Joe and I have been blessed with no major illness.
I did close my Group* January.  I hated what yahoo did anyway.  Since the strokes I don't do major changes at all.
We had a good Thanksgiving spending it with Dot and her bunch and Kathy and Tim.
Joe and I have a peaceful, cold Christmas.  Loved it.
Santa Joe got me a new Nintendo 3DS XL.  The blue one with a gorgeous Pokemon Buck on it.  It sold out
quickly.  The other was a red hawk and it sold out.  They are limited editions.  Pokemon is a DS game.  The new ds game units are in 3D & NO glasses needed!  Stunning!
The 3DS games I have are:
Pokemon X, Pokemon Y, Luigi's Mansion-Dark Moon, Rabbids Travel in Time, The Legend of Zelda-A link between worlds, Etrian Odyssey Untold-The Millennium Girl, & Fire Emblem-Awakening.
The DS XL games:
Pokemon Black, Pokemon White,  Shin Megami Tensei:Strange Journey.  You can play any ds game on the 3d unit.  Just slide the 2d button on.  I want to get Bravely Default* when it comes out on the 7th of Feb.  The New Kirby Triple Deluxe looks good, too.  They haven't a date on that one.
I got a bunch of movies, too.  So.....nice and peaceful....
Here is a Valentine treat for you!!!
Enjoy!!!!!!
