Hello Everybody!!
Another glorious day, in Georgia with 67 degrees, on, yet, another cloudy day...
The weather, mostly, part of September has really put me in the designing mode.LOL!!  Can you tell?!
I went to our new Wal-Mart market store, and my friends I got into sticker & bag or box size!!!!!!  I was so shocked that it really kicked into my "need" inner self!  I hadn't really noticed that much in the full item Wal-Mart, although it has some shock.  Fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, fresh nuts(HUGE reduction in bag size-higher price), ice cream box size, can foods(although, I find myself only getting a small selection(Le Sueur Very Young Small Peas with 50% Less Sodium, with a giant price jump, for one) Frozen vegetables, and I DID love Bush Baked beans-price hike* can size.  Even dried beans and peas are tiny bags...Depressing...............All those farmers that the government stopped buying fresh sending these farmers broke...Yes, the farmers are a small family now a days.. I'm not talking prices & bag sizes of Halloween candies!!  My trick or treaters are all grown up, now!
Ugg.....too depressing a topic......I'm outta here!...
I have started a bit of *Santa* for me....hehe...I have ordered some older DS games, that really are getting hard to find, plus, I haven't played-plus they are on sale.  There are 2 new N3DS games coming out late October and early November that I want to buy.
I really don't need anything, as I have what I want to keep me busy and stimulate my brain!!  If I want a new cross stitch pattern...then I will just design it!  Yes, God took care of my brain on the arts & crafts side...

Howdy Stitching Neighbors!!
Tis another great day in Georgia!!!  69 degrees with overcast skies!!!  It just keeps getting better!!!
Joe and I are doing well today.  The girls* are doing great, too!  I just love those girls...I still can't believe that I love little dogs.....Funny how God changes things for you....
I am going to crock pot a vegetable & meat start in a bit.  All fresh vegetables except for baby peas.  The vegetables for this meal are:  carrots, cauliflower, black-eyes peas, tomatoes, baby green Lima beans, mushrooms,tiny green peas, light red and dark red Kidney beans, butter peas, cut green beans, field peas, diced Vidalia onions(a Georgia original* white, sweet onion from Vidalia, Georgia), chic peas, with chuck beef meat and diced ham bits.  This recipe makes a large meal, so I freeze remaining for another day.

How about it?  Do you Thanksgiving lovers like?  I think this would make a wonderful card for the stitchers in your life?  It is a "quicky" to stitch to boot!  Speaking of Thanksgiving 2015, do expect a crowd for supper or lunch?  Joe and I are doing "staying close to home" deal!  With turkey, dressing(my version), gravy(from turkey juice with slivers of dark meat) cold potato salad(my version), teeny wennie peas(Le Sueur Very Young), baked sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce,  kicked with homemade Pumpkin pie, scratch made Pumpkin bread....then bed!!!! ROTFLMAO!!!  Joe helps me with our feast*.  He does the cut potatoes-smash the eggs for the salad, wash off the fresh sweet potatoes(I know that there are 2 "potatoes" in this menu.....but.......I LOVE both...and its Turkey day!), washes what dishes I dirty up, and does the lifting heavy things-does the putting stuff in the chest freezer,  for later meals!!  Yes, I adore this man and I thank him with each duty done.......I luv him......I thank God for putting Joe in my life!  You want to know something...weird....my mom's last man is a "Joe", too?!  He gave my mom's life* with trips, a Lexus, ship trips(Hawaii-many times, Alaska-many times, ect) seeing what she never saw like the Rocky mountains,  plus so much more...saw her to the very end.....he calls me every now and then to this day.
Are you beginning to see why this is my favorite time of the year?
So....look around you and hug the things and people in your life, while you have the time....This is my heartfelt prayer to you.

Welcome back to OakHaven!!
I do hope that this post  finds yall in good health.  I am fine, on this day, and the days back in September!  We had a death in Joe's family.  His sister died.  It was not a surprise, as she neglected
her diabetes and other serious health issues(kidneys-dialysis for 1 more).  She has gone downhill for years.  Yes, she is in a better world.  Joe is fine.  Saddened only by his sister's lack of taking care of herself, in well over 12 years.  We are surprised that she lived as long as she did!!  May she be at peace now.....
We are still in the grip of hot weather.  We have gotten much needed rain, thank God, all summer!
Not a complaint from me!!!  LOL!  The rains cooled the heat, so, all in all, it was livable!     ;)
All my health issues are in compliance with my meds.  All doctors are happy with my results this summer.  Joe just has one test results* to go back for.  His pain in his ribs.  I do hope that they know what causes him pain and can fix it.  This is the last "issue" unresolved.  He has switched to my #1 doctor that sets up needed works he doesn't do.  He has gone through this with other "docs"(snicker..snicker  :)  Never working on the issue at hand, only to test their* works, to build a page on him.....duh.......that is why I made him see my doc....he doesn't play around!
There is a sting in my hands, still.  I just stitch, play my games, design, make bracelets out of beads, to fill my days now. I am not griping...at all...LOL!!!
As you can see my typing messages are longer now.....   ;)   
Which leads me to my new post on this day!!!!!!    C*H*A*R*T*S!!!!  How does this first one in the new month affect you??
